Amuse me because i've tried. An no fabrication of pipes, just bought stuff. (i dont have tools to chop or weld)

I say lets start with a BEGI manifold and MS DP

yes, i would do the same thing I did before on my na i would get rx7 injectors so say 100 bucks for that. EMangeUltimate would probably be what I would use since Xceede is my only other option that retains OBDII. I would probably go up to around 10~12 like I use to on my 92

EMU is the wrong way to go IMO as Megasquirt will work fine in your '99 if you install a CAS. You would still be into it cheaper than an EMU with PNP harness unless you found a sweet deal.
But to humor the EMU plan. You know how much different injectors would cost you. My 550s after servicing cost me $140-150. So the fueling can be taken care of relatively cheaply.
The prefabbed IC setup is gonna be $$$ though no matter who you buy from. Maybe Nester could hook it up in that area, i know he talked about doing so.
A simple crossover (maybe w/WI) would be cheap though. Though I don't know of any prefabbed crossovers besides ETD maybe??

Do you have to retain OBDII?

Wasn't sure, i've never lived anywhere that required it. The EMU probably can't be beat for cost, PNP, and OBDII acceptance then.

I was considering getting MSM intercooler piping and adapting the I/C that stripes recommends for his kit. I've seen it done. Hell I can get the hot side of the pipes for like 25 bucks from BEGI

Something like a used Nissan turbo, (SR20 style T25), or a new GT25 type turbo? A T3s60 would probably be a decent way to go as well. Bell could fab up a DP for it no problem as Scott's might work already.
I personally don't know the route i'm going with mine, all i know is it is going to be T3 based.

you are getting rid of your current set up?

I talked to stephanie at begi earlier today. Honestly the price of their series 1 kit with some stuff deleted that I do not want is actually not to bad. Only a bit more than I worked out piece stuff together. Plus I could always look at a FM Voodoo boxed used that would get me up to around 180~200 ish

I'm redoing my car slowly. I bought a brand new Begi T3 mani to replace my HKS and I plan to with fab a downpipe or buy Begis stainless if I run out of time. When I do that swap my HKS and T25 will go up for sale along with the shittiest downpipe in the world.
I just sold my voodoo box, they work decent enough though you could wire up Megasquirt parallel like me and no one would know the difference unless they do a visual ECU inspection. Which is ridiculous considering our ECUs are under the dash. I do have a CEL, but i think it's only due to my rear O2 sensor hanging under the car by a piece of electrical tape.

For the money, MS is probably a better decision. I did the same with the o2 sensor on my vw, and it didn't throw a light. There is no visual inspection in TX...if there is its never been enforced.
