Saw this on the Nat Geo channel. They actually have annual competitions in Oaklahoma for this. All I can think of is, why?

Those guys have big balls and sometimes nubs for fingers. They lose fingers when they accidentally stick their hands into a snapping turtle's hole. Yes, they jam their hands into holes in muddy water and wait for the fish to clamp down on their hand.
