^Yup, girls with flat butts can't shoot... something about balance and absorbing recoil.

Found some interesting stippling jobs on a Glock sight:

Trying to decide what to do with my G22's upper. The finish is heavily worn from holster action but I can't make up my mind to leave it, refinish it, brush, or nickel plate it..

Not a big fan of stippling... One of my buddies did it to his S&W semi-auto and it just feel terrible in my hand. Too much abrasion going on for my liking.

Had a G30 grip reduced, re-angled, and stippled by Ben at Boresight Solutions. It was sick.

If the texture is too rough, take some sandpaper to it.

That is true... However, most of my guns have a metal frame, so just stippling the grips doesn't really help me out that much. Plus the pattern supplied on the grips usually work out fairly well for my comfort. Different strokes...

I'm generally fine with stock grips, I just wanted that Glock done because I hate the stock Glock grip angle (well, that and the G30 is a brick).

Yeah... Depending on the Generation Glock you got, the grips can either be great or suck ***. At least that is what I've found personally.

I don't mind factory Glock ergonomics (Gen 1, 2, 3) but Gen 4s are damn near uncomfortable.

My sentiments exactly... Not sure what they were thinking, but they should be shot for it.

there's a reason why Gen 3 models are still in demand over Gen 4s. the Gen 4 is easily the worst Glock ever made.

Agreed pusha... That's one the reasons I don't like when specific firearms evolve.

Found the most useless firearm "accessory" I've ever seen.

He calls it the "otapin" and I quote:

I invented over ten years ago a small device which safely and positively prevents a Glock handgun from firing. It is a small pin that easily inserts behind the barrel hood and merely keeps the slide from closing all the way. The OTAPIN can be removed from a loaded gun quite easily and quickly by a trained and familiar user, but anyone else will have an inert pistol in their unauthorized hands. I have been using this system since 1994, and it works simply and positively. If anyone would like to try one out in any Glock firearm, just send me a private message with your email, and I'll get in contact with you. The OTAPIN is so safe and simple that I cannot wonder at how many unauthorized Glock discharges could have been prevented by my device, the OTAPIN, and how many lives could have been saved.
I call it a ******* disaster looking for a time and place. I digress.

Has anyone ever seen the resetting glock triggers for dry fire practice? For $200 from glockstore you can get a dry fire striker and resetting trigger.

One guy says "I can rack my slide about 5 million times for two hundred bucks.." But wait, there's more!! For $399 you get the trigger, striker, and magic bullet!! OMG!! So when you dry fire it shines a laser on the "target" you've just fired at. Uhm, okay, I can understand the want for draw and trigger control practice, but jesus.. Hasn't anyone ever heard of a ******* airsoft gun? KWA makes an ATP (adaptive training pistol) which is modeled after a glock in function, weight, and feel.. They're like $100.00 and you could actually shoot it at things.. Squirrels, the neighbors dog, the neighbors kid..

Yes I'm bored.

Going to a gun show Saturday noonish after I jew the **** out of some bitch from CL for an Orvis Jeep... and I'll be god damned if I come home without a ******* sub2000.....

For awhile now, I've had a recurring dream where I was drawing my P220 and no matter how hard I try, I can't get the DA trigger squeezed quick enough. I always wake up before whatever was supposed to happen happened.

I've been carrying my Glock 35 without issue (no, I don't use an otopin) since the dreams started and I haven't shot myself yet. We'll see how this goes though.
