Nah, I agree with Robert. It's not about getting butt-hurt, it's not about using salty language or making fun of each other, or whatever. It's about people being incapable or unwilling to discuss topics in anything other than an entirely juvenile tone. It's funny occasionally, when it's 98% of the time it's just tiresome and irritating.

Honestly, if pusha had posted this

there is no way in hell Id take such a small bullet over a .45 ACP per say. It had its merits back when it was relatively cutting edge for its time. Now though, there are a million other options that are FAR more effective at stopping, penetration and killing power. By todays standards, its a ---- round.
instead of this

7.62x25mm is failaids
do you think we'd be having this discussion?

Right, and in my "real life," I don't hang around those guys, because I get tired of the nonsense.

Oh please, the round is garbage. It's expensive (relatively) to shoot and it offers little in the way of a defensive caliber. Is it fun to shoot? Perhaps, but then again so are most things up until you get into dangerous game cartridges.

While we're at it...

.45 ACP IS DOGSHIT AND SO IS .30-30

If you think this discussion is over your opinion of that round, you're missing the point.

No, your comment was referring to the way I went about stating my opinion.

Christ, I just priced some 7.62 x 25. This stuff is nearly 2x the cost of 9mm and has few anti-personnel options.

So lets discuss 9mm handload options.

I've got 250 of Berrys CMJ roundnose 124grn bullets and 250 of Berrys CMJ roundnose 147grns.

Plan is a soft shooting yet accurate round for my 5" M&P Pro.

Powders are WSF/Acc#7 and Universal.

Who thinks I'll succeed in Not blowing my hand off during the first round of test loads?

There's a lot of knowledge out there regarding low-recoil reloading options for high-speed target shooting, perhaps try one of those forums? Unfortunately, I don't know whole lot about it as I still buy much of my ammo from Wally World. I doubt you'll blow your hands off unless your M&P is lame... as I have yet to blow my hands off shooting high pressure handloads from my G20. It's coming, I know it is.

I have the archenemy of your pistol, the Glock 34. It's rather accurate...

...perhaps you make a response video? :-)

Heh, it was more of a diversion!

brianenos.com is my new go to area for those types of topics. Have a few formulas to try as starting points already.

Yah, not worried about the gun not being strong enough. Squibs/double charges are the one that would make things interesting after all...

My very first reloading adventures I had a couple squibs because I forgot to dump powder in. The bullet made it about half an inch into the barrel but the primer isn't enough to cycle the slide so no fresh round was chambered. Pretty simple solution, don't forget to charge the rounds. *shrug*

On another note, it's done. I present my 4.75 pound (unloaded) $480.00 AR.

That piece of ---- rear sight is only temporary, have another one on the way. This thing is LIGHT and is very well balanced in my hands, can easily hold it straight out in front of me by the stock for an extended period of time. In an attempt to shave more weight off I'm considering ditching the hogue overmolded grip for a standard plastic OE stoner grip, and plan to machine 6 slots in the receiver extension tube then cover it with epoxy shrink wrap. Plan to replace the plastic foregrips with a single floating carbon fiber piece my buddy is whipping up, hopefully it's lighter than 150 grams that the plastic weighs.. The upper is forged at "Brass Aluminum Forging" which is another supplier to Colt, M4 profile pencil barrel.

What'chya want a how-to on? How to build a sub-$500 AR or how I built a sub-five pound AR? Admittedly a large cost of that rifle was gifted to me. Received the Bolt carrier group from a friend for Christmas.

Figured I'd give a short review on something I bought recently.

Personally I hate carrying spare magazines in my pockets partially because I'm very picky about what goes in which pocket. I'm right handed and hold my phone with my left hand, so that has to be in my left pocket and absolutely nothing else. Since I carry on my strong side that leaves me only my right hand pocket for keys, my small swiss army knife, lip balm and small bottle of Naphcon.

Nobody makes (at least that I can find) nice single magazine belt clips that are worth buying, until I stumbled on this thread over at GlockTalk and scored these:

$20 for a matching pair shipped, he'll make them for any magazine I believe. Only took like 5 days from payment to receive them, and I believe he builds them after payment is received. Retention can be adjusted with the screw shown on the front and if I recall correctly, you've the choice when ordering what kind of belt clips you'd like. Ordered a set for my Glock and one for my Keltec, have been carrying the Keltec more frequently since it's a lot more comfortable than the G22. Absolutely love these little magazine clips and highly recommend.

Be damned if I can find his thread right now...

Which keltec are you carrying these days? I keep looking at adding a PF9 to the collection.

picked up a new plinker, GSG-522, just for ***** and giggles. The thing is really fun to shoot, cheaper than my sig 556 of which I traded in to buy this and a Smith & Wesson bodyguard 380 for my wife.
