Do yourself a favor and step up to the vortex dimondback if you are looking in the $150 range. It's what I am going to put on my .22. t's not much more, but a significant jump in glass quality.

I have never seen a bad Nikon, but that reticle sucks.

Why are you going with adjustable power on a .22? Get the 22 mag from Simmons in 4x32 and be done with it. 9 power on a .22 is way over the top.

Like I said, accuracy with a .22lr is WAY more about your ammo than any single thing that guys like us can afford. If you've got the coin for an Anschutz, then by all means do whatever... but for those of us who like our $200 22lr's and $35 scopes, I am perfectly happy shooting bulk HP's at .02cents per trigger pull and keeping it somewhere "in the middle" at 100yds.

I didn't really care about color, that was just the first cheap handguard that I stumbled on. I will probably match it with an FDE grip and stock. Might just stick with black Magpuls, though...not sure how I feel about color-matched mags.

I'm not buying any more Keltec products until they unfuck their supply problems. Half their catalog is "impossible to find". Nobody has as many issues as they have unless it's on purpose. In not being able to buy their products, they clearly don't put the customer first.

When the major online retailers start to have Sub2k's for $300, and my LGS has them in stock, I'll get one, but not until then.

I can try to source one through my guy if you need (Glock 9mm?). Do you have an FFL up there that'll accept from a private party for a reasonable fee?

I know I could find an FFL somewhere that would sell me one for $300. He'll take a $50 deposit and put it on order. Then I'd wait and wait and wait and maybe it never shows up, or maybe it does. Or maybe I could find an FFL who "knows a guy" and could have one in a week... which is equally as much bullshit.

My point, and my power as a consumer is that I refuse to buy anything in that manner. I understand the supply of a certain product running low, or even running out, but the company should make an effort to tell the consumer what's going on, and why their products aren't on the shelves. Keltec won't tell you anything under any circumstances. I'll wait until they get their **** straight or I'll just go without.

I'll use Primary Arms as an example. Everything they sell fly's off the shelves as quickly as they get them. They have manufacturing issues with their people in China that they are trying to work out. They are very transparent and it's easy to feel their frustration. They make no excuses, and the consumer knows exactly where they stand. I want one of their micro-dots BAD... but can't wait. I'm gonna end up with a Bushnell TRS-25 in the next few weeks unless they pull off a miracle. In this case, I'm willing to wait a couple weeks because I like how the company does business... but not with Keltec.

Ok, I'll call him tomorrow and see what I can do for anyone else who may be interested.

For the record, George Kellgren is an *******.

I'd be interested in a non stupid markup sub2k in 9mm/glock.

I still have my little upgrades from my .40 sub2k. Kept them when I sold it for my intentions of finding a 9mm.
