Nah, the land is probably cheap, but it still costs a lot to build a house like that. I'd say 250k minimum. Figuring 220k for the house and 30k for the land.

I have ~2300 sqft on 1.5 acres, last I looked I think I had 187k in it (156 purchase + 31 in renovations). It appraised at 250k. The house a couple doors down is for sale, if you're lookin. It's on .75 acres I think and is low 200's.

yeah, if you go in peak traffic it can definitely be 2 hours or more. when I had an office in midtown (off peachtree st at 16th, diagonally across from the atlanta symphony and art center) I could get there in 45 minutes if I left by 6.
