I too have had people tell me my cars are FWD...... tards

Saml01 05-07-2008 11:16 AM

You may find it funny but a lot of people ask me "Is your car front wheel drive" and when I tell them "Its rear wheel drive" they sound very very surprised. This is the same reason why the Dodge Demon will succeed.

levnubhin 05-07-2008 11:21 AM

I prefer people think its wrong wheel drive.

whaaaaat? My miata isn't FWD? OMG, all these years I though I had a FWD Miata, now I just found out that I actually own a DelSol

Braineack 05-07-2008 11:36 AM

its FWD when i drive in reverse.

Zabac 05-07-2008 11:40 AM

Scott, when driving in reverse, does the Miata understeer much?

Braineack 05-07-2008 11:59 AM

it sure does, plows right into roadside obstacles.

icantthink4155 05-07-2008 12:00 PM

yeah I did my rear springs at my GFs dads machine shop (lot'o tools) he thought it had been FWD but after looking at it with the wheel off assumed it was AWD.

klutchmaster 05-07-2008 05:32 PM

Who can fabricate an AWD kit for the miata? That would be cool. Taking an AWD miata rallycrossing would be an experience.

hustler 05-07-2008 08:38 PM

i can't even read that shit anymore its so stupid.

boostinboy 05-07-2008 10:28 PM

Wow that guy doesn't deserve to own a Miata.

Saml01 05-07-2008 10:52 PM

^ now cmon. How cool would a MS6 drivetrain powered miata be?

I am not the first and wont be the last to think of a four wheel drive miata.

boostinboy 05-07-2008 10:54 PM

^ I guess it would be kind of cool to drive a 4WD Miata in rally haha. I like my FWD Miata better, haha Just kidding i know it RWD.

gwilo 05-08-2008 03:05 PM

Everyone should be able to tell a Miata is RWD..... It has read disk breakes.

Everyone knows that FWD cars have drum breakes in the read :)

Side note my winter/bring the dog to the park car is a Pontiac SunRunner 2 wheel drive(Chev Tracker / Suz Sidekick) and everyone thinks it is a FWD ?

levnubhin 05-08-2008 03:10 PM

What are read brakes?

My F-150 has drums on the rear.
