Did you buy the link or did you buy the car with the link already installed? Who tuned it the first time?

What version of link does it have?

Do you have a laptop you can program it with? Do you have the necessary cables and stuff? Have you tried posting here: Engine Tuning — Link Engine Management Systems - plug-in & wire-in aftermarket ECU's
?

Sell that **** and buy a megasquirt... You could also do a little research and learn a few things to get started. The information is out there, you just gotta want it. No one is gonna take time out of their day to help you if you're not asking the right questions or showing initiative. LINK is old and decrepit. I'm pretty sure Flyin Miata doesn't even sell it anymore. You could maybe try calling their support for help.

Yeah, FM doesn't sell it anymore and I don't think link itself is sold in that version anymore. I don't know how the LinkG4 compares to what we have but if you were upgrading to a new link, I'd just go MS. Matter of fact I'd go MS as soon as possible myself. Less likely to muck things up and lots more people know MS and maitas than link and miatas. Support is king.
