6th Annual NE Dyno Day poll
 

It's that time of year again to start planning for the 6th Annual NE Dyno Day! Woo! Pretty much will be similar to last year so cool cars, peeps, food, and fun. Pricing and details to follow, but this is to figure out the best date, so please vote so we can pick the date that most people can make it.

Location is in Newark, DE and we usually run from 8-9am to mid afternoon, but can go until 8pm if necessary. It is NOT a loading dyno, but the guys there are pretty flexible and let us do what we want. This is NOT a tuning day as proper tuning takes hours and we would only be able to run a few cars.

I voted for April, I shoudl be up and running by then :P


I still have my Karting membership card. I hope we are planning a session of karting afterward!

I'm probably going to be in Poland for both of those days. =(

I was hoping to find a dyno that doesn't inflate the numbers so much.

Stop scaring off the noobs. We all know your 300hp was real. Just because everyone makes the power they should be making on the dyno and you go an put down "impossible" numbers. ;) And if I remember correctly, probably the same peeps who said that it was impossible that I made more than 220rwhp with 1.8 injectors.

I vote for May 2. Can't make it on April 25, hate to miss these.

I didn't vote cause I can make it on either day. I missed the Paul birthday extravaganza, but I made it last year. I'm not sure if I'll have my clutch in the car by then, but it'll definately be running on the 460's and tuned.

I might be in for May. If I don't have my car together by then, just shoot me.

I can't talk at the moment, I just took my head apart so I can drop it off at a machinist tomorrow. I had to touch it, freaking thing drove 9 months straight without a hiccup.

You can plan on me dynoing my CRX HF. If I put down over 50whp I'll get a boner!

PS - My car finally got its new PCV valve installed last week. Hopefully no more clouds of smoke and oil while dyno testing. :rofl:

Does it need help getting the rollers going? Maybe hustler can send his pet gerbil over to start running on the rollers after we strap the CRX up?

Maybe I can hurry and get a new manifold designed by one of these days. I may have to steal the 2560 turbo off my subaru though. :bang:

At the moment either day works for me but I'll choose the april date cause may 1 is my nephew's birthday, the wife's family will probably plan a party last minute for the 2nd.

The turbo for test fitting from Bruce is at Paul's house. I brought it down with me the other day.

I voted May 2 because I will be in Vegas on 4/25. I am N/A though, and will still be N/A by the dyno day so I'm not sure it's worth strapping up the car. I'm mostly interested in checking out various setups, picking brains, and bumming ride-alongs from y'all that may help me decide exactly what I'm going to do with my car.

That's worth coming for. All the guys I met at the last dyno day were cool and there was a variety of setups to see from N/A to Begi to Tim's work to a 5.0 swap. You don't have to dyno yours, you could just go to meet people and check out their setups. Not sure if I'll go yet because my setup hasn't changed since last time.

Lots of people go that don't dyno. No big deal. You may even be able to caravan up since we have several DC area individuals that go.

I bummed a ride last year cause my car was a week shy of being ready. I forced Lars to let me drive home however.

Crx finally just passed inspection and they are aligning it as I type. So operation dyno hf is a go!
