Anyone feeling a MS tuneing/help meet? (NE USA)

I know I need help with my MS, and im sure there ae others who could use it. So I thought it would be nice to have a meet with people who have/know how to use MS.

As for location, we should find a place thats in the middle of everyone, me and brgracer are in media, pa (south east corner of PA).

So hopefully some people could chime in, and maybe we could have like a meet/run on some backroads or whatever. :cool:

wasn't there some guy that brought up this to do on any sunday in March? I think he even posted a poll to figure out which day was best.

I'm down. Anyone off Mondays? Otherwise a sunday when I'm not auto-xing

cardriverx 04-12-2008 07:10 PM

cardriverx 04-17-2008 07:08 PM

Ok, so far me and paul

lookin for the guys you listed, and brgracer, maybe brain?

Mach929 04-18-2008 07:35 PM

uego half installed.

here's how far i got:
uego gauge mounted, sensor in downpipe, stock o2 removed, power/ground wires done, uego 0-5v wire connected to pin 10 on mspnp center connector but not yet plugged in. uego in it's own seems to work fine, afrs seem to be a lot different than my lm1 though.

i keep reading over the manual but i keep getting confused, i don't know which lambda sensor in the configurator i'm supposed to use. aem linear, or aem non-linear....my uego manual does not specify.

paul 04-19-2008 09:02 PM

aem linear

then check out this thread http://forums.plastikracing.net/viewtopic.php?t=2221

Mach929 04-20-2008 09:17 PM

that works fine, but i can't get the afr target table to read afr instead of volts, i've tried changing the "volts" to "AFR" and .038666,255.0,10.0,20.0,1 but doesn't work

paul 04-20-2008 10:16 PM

did you do the next steps?

4. Now you are going to need to edit your MSQ file. Otherwise, you will get an error saying that units do not match. Search for (line 586):
Code:

<constant cols="8" name="afrBins1" rows="8" units="Volts">

and replace it with
Code:

<constant cols="8" name="afrBins1" rows="8" units="AFR">

5. If you originally had AFR target defined in voltages, they will not appear correctly in MegaTune once you re-open your MSQ for editing. You will need to re-enter in the AFR target, but this time in AFR format instead of volts.

Mach929 04-20-2008 10:27 PM

yep, did it like 30 times, no dice...i give up

cjernigan 04-20-2008 10:29 PM

Quit bothering with it man, it's not worth your time.

paul 04-20-2008 10:47 PM

you kidding? it's so much easier to make up an AFR table based on AFR numbers instead of volts. unless you like figuring out the calculation.
