Default Help me get running on MS - Install meet! South Jersey

Hey guys ... Looking to get running on MS3x. I want to learn the in's/outs of tuning before I throw boost in the mix. I keep procrastinating, and thought maybe I could get a little gathering of turbo guru's here at my garage to help me kick-start my MS journey. I can grab a few pizza's and we can get to installing/tuning. I can also offer up my heated garage, 2 post lift, and tool box full of tools to anyone who comes by!

Date TBD... Probably any Saturday/Sunday in January, or February.. This is more of a feeler to see if there is any interest. I held a similar event when I had my Wrx and it worked out really great! Had 5-6 cars show up and it was a good time!

Awesome! If/when more people chime in we can start discussing dates that would work. Even if only 1-2people show up I'd be happy lol. I plan on installing my wideband soon so my car should be as simple as plugging in my ecu and tuning... I hope

I might be interested as well but I'd only be there as a sponge. I have no experience with MS but am always interested in learning.

That's fine too! Hopefully we can get a few guys experienced in MS to give some basic instruction lol. I'm pretty sure I could figure it out on my own (Especially since im still n/a) but I would feel way better about everything if someone was there who has some experience.

Gloucester County. Deptford Twp to be exact. Probably ~2 hrs from NYC. Not too bad of a ride down here from there! I have done a few NY day trips

Please video tape! This would benefit all MS users.

If JP is there to help tune your Miata, then you are one lucky SOB.

Nice, that over by the mall?

I'm actually over in West Deptford apparently, over by Riverwinds. In-laws live over there. Nice people.

Yup right down the street from the mall. West deptford is close enough! I have an aunt that lives around the corner from Riverwinds.

March 8th or 9th!!

Ok so I know I said January / February... But I have a perfect opening for the 2nd weekend in March. I will be a lot slower at work by March, and maybe we will get lucky and get a warm day! This also will give anyone interested in coming plenty of time to make the plans to get here. I am still completely open for either Saturday or Sunday.. Doesn't make much difference to me, but I have a feeling most would prefer Saturday.

I'll put it in my calendar as well. I doubt I'll dewinterize my Miata by then, but maybe.

Nice!

Figured I'd bump this thread as a reminder. Hope we can get a few people out. The more the merrier! Got a new vtps in the mail from railz and that was the last thing I needed for the ms install!
