I had a blast competing, thanks for running the books and doing all the work to make it happen. I'm going to work on getting more locals to compete next year.

/\ Typical - from my understanding of the rules so far in car prep, I would have 8.5 points which is street. But not having carpet automatically puts me in modified. Great - let me pull out my 105 HP knife out now.

Wad up the carpet and stuff it in the trunk.

I'm not going to buy carpet to wad up in the trunk. No worries... it is what is.

+1

Thanks to Spoolin for setting it up and keeping us running.

Thanks Hustler for keeping it close and making me faster by doing so.

Thanks to Emillio for letting us in to play.

It was a fun season for sure. I'm lots faster than I was at the first event thanks to this.

Those have been replaced with standard again and just the window hardware removed. I included those points as well...
Still unclear on HVAC controls and heater core - they have been deleted which would put it in Modified I believe.

At Hallett when you cut that hot-lap I really checked-myself and it helped push me to spend money I didn't have on AST's, and kept me from replacing my screwed up TV, thanks a lot *******.

Then I let that son of a bitch bastard John drive my car, lol.

Everyone got significantly faster over the course of the season, which is fantastic. Looking forward to some strong competition next year! I'm comin' for ya, Wags!

Nope. Chris S was thinking about selling his similar red car.

Hmmm I've got between now and next season to decide what class to run...what'll it be?

Is everyone staying in the same classes?

I'm seriously considering running in Modified next season. I like my air conditioning and power steering and cruise control and power windows, so I probably shouldn't be in Unlimited.

I can maybe drop enough points simply by using 15x8 wheels and 140 treadwear tires.

Or maybe I'll stay in Unlimited. I don't like having to worry about points when improving my car, plus Unlimited is where the big boys play.

Or maybe I'll take next year off, pay off my enormous debts, then stage a triumphant return in 2012.

Hell yes it was a great season and I really got the car moving. I had only been on 2-tracks until this year, now I have time on 6. I was really humbled this year and must admit that I didn't respect the learning curve I experienced in my car. I'm coming for you and Wagz, and Dan...line-em-up. It's kind of cool to have more than enough car and only work on getting your head right to be competitive.

I'm biased, so let me talk about myself for a moment...I don't think my car should be in unlimitted. I should be competing with you, Geezer, Wagz, 0086, and ZXTX in the same class. I believe there is some rumor going around about a rule-shift. I like the way street is set-up as daily drivers, but I don't think a 240whp car with big brakes, full interior, and no aero should be in unlimitted. When I think of unlimitted, I think of a car that shows up on a trailer, has lots of aero, gutted interior, and 300+whp. I drive my car from the track to the god damned bar, you shouldn't be able to do that in an unlimited car.

Is that theory too biased? You can park my car next to Gordons, Savingaids', Matt Andrews' and tell me which one doesn't belong.

The only thing about that is it brings in subjective qualifications instead of objective.

My N/A car would be considered unlimited at this point, but that's another thing.
