Idk how many Pennsylvania people there are here, but there's a group that stays active for all Mazdas. They're only on Facebook, but just about everyone has that. There's a decent amount of Miata guys there.

There's a surprising amount of people from PA on this site. If you want to post up details about any meets or anything for those of us without FB, that would good.

I'm on that facebook group, but there appears to be an overabundance of Clubroadster type modifications to all types of mazdas on there. One comment I remember best was just the other day a kid decided to lower his speed6 by cutting coils off the springs. He said it rides like stock. lol. Someone should really take that car off him, he definitely does not deserve to have a mazdaspeed6 in my opinion.

Yeah that facebook group is pretty much full of riced out mazdaspeed 3's. It's all good though, I'm still part of it.

I'll keep up on events on here too for everyone. There are a lot of 3's, but a decent amount of Miatas and other cars. There are some very nice 3's there too. A lot of the people you meet at events though are the 'cool kids.' More of the people that have a... different view on what the car is for dont show up, they're just Facebook warriors. Facebook is a nice basis to keep it local, personal and free.

But there's talk of a BBQ again this year and a lot of people get to the local autox's

Yeah I looked but did not join. I get enough stupid updates from PA's finest (Which I'm mean even a member of). All it is is sh*t talking, K20 swapped civics wanting to race everything, and saying Mustangs are slow. I can't even understand the lingo anymore...it's like their brains are atrophy-ing from non-use. I digress.

I'm also not a fan of the facebook thingy. And the language used is not one I fully comprehend. But if somebody could keep us informed about events, in particular events that require helmets, that wold be great!

Thanks,

Stefan from Bucks County

Spending $45 for a few runs at an autocross course always seemed expensive to me. I'm used to $15 days. Regardless, have you ever been out to their events? Are the courses tight or more open?

This will be my first with this group, I missed them last weekend at Hershey. I must be in the wrong crowd, but a $15 day sounds like a steal.

In my experience, the PCA did tighter courses, and were more fun because there were less people. They're still $40 so I hardly went.
