I've decided to do Sebring on Saturday December 22nd. Shandelle from V8R is going also.

$350 all day with catered lunch included. Only 3 run groups so lots of track time.

Yeah, I'll be there Sunday Nov 11 but not for a track day. It's the annual state autox championship and this year it's Martin SCC turn to host it. It's just another local autox event with a few outliers like myself driving in from 300+ miles away.

Driving up on Sat. so looking for recommendations on where to go for a decent meal. I'm sure it's corporate America heaven out there but if anyone knows a good local place that serves a decent steak please chime in.

Video from Sunday as autocrossers attacked the FIRM for the state championships. I know you guys love tracking but I believe watching autocross videos is a bit more exciting. Obviously I'm biased.

Sorry for the bad video quality. Trying to get used to the VIRB camera. Coulda sworn it had dl'ed the hi res vid. But hope you enjoy the sound of a stock internal VVT engine at 7800.

I'm hoping it's faster than the Miata

 

I cleared it with the wife and will be for sure going to the Sebring event on December 22 with Performance Driving Group. The Lotus will be making an appearance to earn a Sebring sticker for the back window.

Welp, That escalated quickly. Engine is now out of the car and I'm battling getting things back in order in time for the track day. I should have bought a Porsche..

 

I'm going over on Friday afternoon and staying at the Chateau. I know Ryan is going on Friday Also. Anybody else going to be there the night before?

 

I was just looking at prices. Did you get hairpin view? how much did you pay?

 

I got what was cheapest. I don't need a view. IDK what I paid.

 

We just end up sleeping in the room anyway so there is no need for a view.

 

More so for my fiancée.

 

If my wife isn't shopping in town she is at the Tower or in the garages. She's told me in the past that Sebring is where all of the clearance items go to die from the various stores. She always comes home with lots of clothes, shoes, and stuff.
