Default 11/14/09 Mid-Atlantic / NE Dyno Day - Roll Call Thread

DETAILS FOR DYNO DAY, PLEASE READ ALL

We reserved the date 11/14/09 with ACA Performance in DE.

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/73+Albe...DE+19702-1361/

Phone number there is (302)369-0200

We should be there at 8:30am at the latest and dyno runs will begin at 9am sharp and we will run until we are all done.

If you are NOT going to hit the dyno, please park in the lot across the street so we can have room to move the dyno cars around.

2) $65 for four pulls with wideband, and just like in the past, they will let us do more than four pulls with some tuning in between at that price as long as we don't abuse it. If you're going to bitch about the price, don't come.

Lunch will be on Rick and me and probably be pizza again so I can take home leftovers cause I'm a cheap jew.

3) If you plan on getting on the dyno, this will be the process to keep things running smoothly:
  • When you arrive find Brgracer (Tom) to sign a release form for the dyno shop
  • You will be asked to get your car to the staging area when the car before you is on the dyno (this is so you are ready to hit the dyno so make sure you car is warmed up, laptop hooked up, etc... we are having a lot of cars so don't waste time)
  • If you plan on making any adjustments between runs (AFPR/MBC/different maps) have EVERYTHING ready in advance, i.e. have tools out, have a plan, and make several maps so you can quickly upload them

MOST IMPORTANT If you are coming, I need you to post here so we can plan accordingly.

  • How many people/cars are coming? If you want to also give me car details then great.
  • How many cars are dynoing?
  • How many peeps are eating?
  • How many peeps will be karting the day before?

Once we are done making our pulls we'll head over for lunch and hang out. We can hit the kart racing place again and possibly dinner afterwards so bring your helmet just in case, if you have one.

Save the date bitches! Nov 14, 2009 Saturday. Dyno, cool cars, peeps, food, and fun.

Secondly, at least 5-6 of us will be taking off the Friday before 11/13/09 to go indoor kart racing. It's ~$125 for all you can kart between 11am-11pm. It's here Welcome to MidAtlantic Grand Prix - Home of Racing Excitement and while it says $99 for the all you can kart, that's the membership price and membership is ~$25. As the date gets closer, if you are interested, PM me or post here as well.

Coming List:

  2. Braineack (Scott)*

I'm still in. Dyno, food, and probably karting after.

I can't make the Friday karting party, though.

I'm going to try to nake it. No point in dynoing the Miata again (nothing changed since May dyno day), but I figure it would be worth seeing some other setups. GF may want to tag along.

I guess I'm caravaning up w/ Braineack, neogenesis, Lars on Friday.

We kart until ???

Friday night - crash at a hotel?

Saturday - dyno/lunch

Saturday afternoon - head home and catch UFC 105 at 10 p.m.

Profit???

karting depends on how we are feeling. I think last year we started at 1pm, broke for dinner and a little wrenching and went back for another hour or so. i think we finished at 10, came home to play video games but was too beat to play for more than ten minutes. it was very exhausting, you'd be surprised.

Atleast 5 party sizes, and soda!

Because I am scared of

Hell if I get working cops I guess I can do some 15PSI runs. All else fails its a reason to build the engine this winter.
