I'll be there, but mostly for lemons. It's the first chance I've had to check out one of those events. Plus I think OG Racing has a store there and I need to pick up an SA helmet.

Last time I was at hyperfest I was driving, and I didn't leave the paddock to watch any of the silly stuff.

I won't be there but a couple of my teammates will be there racing in PT. I've always wanted to attend but there's always a conflict.

doors dont open until 9:30 and I'm not working this year so i cant sneak in early, otherwise I'd just be camping out friday. think the line will be crazy stupid long to get in? I havent been since the first year in like 06-07? so it wasnt as popular.

so it depends how long you wanna sit still in the car, and where you wanna park. i got lucky, my friends that got there at 7, turned left and parked by the fence, so we coud watch the racing, instead of parking down in the field |
I just wanna park up front so everyone coming in sees my car, and kills themself because they arent worthy.
im actually annoyed i wont be parking in paddock like typically i do. |

I was told by lemons staff that we could come on Friday for their tech day and then camp at the track Friday and Saturday nights. Hope they are right and that leads to easier parking.

well someones coming to look at my car, possibly to buy in the next hour. what kind of crap would that be lol, sell the car a few days before hyperfest.
btw, assuming he doesnt buy, im bringing a small gas grill, generator, electric fan, easyup, and some drinks, so if anyone brings hotdogs and stuff, they are free to use my grill. hoping i can fit some chairs in there too, if not, the car will be the chair lol |

no, didnt walk out that way. I wasn't there for the hyperfest stuff. I didnt have a paddock pass and had my car parked on the dirt path so if I went out to the other track i wouldnt be able to get back. |

On the fast feed i thought the deer went inside the car. That's ------- crazy. The way its neck twisted i'm surprised it wasnt ripped off.

That is why you always drive with your visor down. It's bad enough getting the occasional tire chunk coming inside the window, but you never know when some crazy ---- like that is going to happen. There's wildlife all over the damn place up at Summit and that's at least the third deer strike I know of that's happened at triple digit speeds on Main. They have turkeys too but at least they're fairly slow and usually clear out once the first group hits the track in the a.m. I had a squirrel come within inches of turning itself into a grease spot under my right front tire as I was trailbraking for a lefthander on the Shenandoah course. That can easily send you off track and there isn't much runoff there.
You guys show pics of d----ing but no scantily clad wimmins?!? That is not the complete Hyperfest experience. I haven't been recently but here's some vids of the Daisy Dukes contest from 2010. |
