Mobius, Curly, and any other unknown PDX MT.net guys. Yes this is a hardparking CR get together but these guys aren't the "CR, hella flush, jdm yo crowd". Most of these guys are into track days and autoX. Should be a fun little drive up through the hills above wilsonville too.

I lived in STL for nearly 6 years so I know all about the heat and humidity. I don't miss it at all

8 or 9 cars showed up. 7 of us took a nice country drive. Thankfully there was one girl driver so it wasn't a total sausage fest. Hilarious having a wrx and old prelude revving at us in the Sonic parking lot.

That drive was the most fun ive had outside of a track day. My napa pads were worse than my e-brake actuated porterfield race pads by the end.

There's a whole lotta roads like those around those hills both east and west of Wilsonville and Newberg. We'll have to do it again and find another route to take.

Or maybe some other time we could do a crown point run, those roads sometimes have a hair more traffic, but a lot more switch backs and the vista house make it a sweet run. I wish I could followed you, so I could've had a little faster pace run but it was fun. Wish I would have showed up earlier to check your guys IC setup.

Lol, you should have done what I did, pass the N/A's. In fifth. Lulz. Until I was chasing Casey, I don't think I saw over 5000rpm, and over 150* coolant temp, and even chasing Casey I didn't see over 165*. Beyond the DP hitting the subframe, the car was flawless.

uh, some of them got posted on CR, since that's where most of the people with cameras post usually.

yeah you were only one car back from casey...I would have felt like a douche if I just started passing 4 cars..lol, it was still fun. I just wanted to try and chase the turbo cars!!! haha

We didn't push THAT hard. I'll only take hooliganism so far driving country roads. Too many driveways, deer and blind corners. I save flat out, squirling at or beyond the limits, for the track.

Here's a couple pictures stolen from the CR thread...

Catch a glimpse of Curly's rockin stereo! 9v battery powered speaker hooked to Ipod.

Casey, I totally agree about driving at the limit is best left at the track. I just noticed how there was a significant gap between you two and chris, would have also like to see how much quicker Curls car was on accel. But all in all it was fun.

Didn't say it didn't. I think it's a great addition and nice compromise for adding creature comforts to your stripped out car.

Don't remind me. It's there so I can still have a little security by locking the column, although I have yet to take the key out. Can it be done without affecting blinker, head light, and wiper function?
