Went to the NASA meet in Sebring today and got a ride in a well prepared Porche Boxter in the TTB class. Wow.....Three or four laps of full on. He is a record holder in his class at that track.

Am I going to be dreaming of Nascar bars and lap times??

Sebring is a hell of a fucking track. I've been to so many races there I can't keep count. Even had the pleasure of lapping it a few times with some of the clubs. Done 160+ on the back stretch :cool: (non-miata, lol) My pants were thoroughly brown after that; full on pudding hammock.

I remember having rare chances of talking to some of the Le Mans drivers there and nearly all of them saying that 12 hours at Sebring is just as harsh as 24 hours anywhere else. Ah..Good times!

You'll be dreaming for a while. You're in a prime spot, too. I don't see why you can't dual purpose your car. It's nearly tracked out anyway.

Post some pics from Sebring if you got any. Also, more specs on your car. You haven't updated in a while.

Sixshooter was there getting training to be able to do track days. He may have taken a pic or two. He got a ride in the car too.

We got up to between 120 and 130 on the straight. It wasn't the quickest car in the world, but I was amazed at what it was like in the turns. Car was around 250whp and just under 3000lbs with driver if I recall. It was my first experience on a road race track.

I have not done a whole lot on the car lately. Business has been terrible this last year, preventing me from spending much on the car. I have been doing a few little projects like gutting the doors and such. Good news is I may have landed a good paying project. The biggest of my career. :drool:
