Yasssssss that's also super close!

Ok so we're in 658, 660, and 621.

sixshooter 07-29-2019 09:45 AM

Ben, I'll take a set of eclipse vents.

Btw, that 6-speed will be free to a good home. And it still works. I'm never changing back from the BMW trans. It would be a shame to junk the 6-speed since they are so pricey and this is fixable.

Free on the 1.8 driveshaft also.

Fuckit. As long as I'm cleaning up, $220 on the triple pass NA radiator. I need to unclutter my workspace.

And I'll bring some of the interior plastic bits that came out when I installed the full cage. Free.

Yes, but only in the lobby and the restaurant. Anywhere else on premises you are sending smoke signals. So the answer might as well be no because people only go to the lobby or restaurant maybe once a day. You can forget finding or contacting people unless you see them in person. That is why it is important to know what cabin number people will be in, or what their cars will look like.

There's WiFi at the general store, but it gets saturated pretty quickly. There's also some sort of WiFi extender at the fire pit, near Matt's cabin(621/617) the past two year's it's been somewhat intermittent though.

Trade you a set of vents for the driveshaft. Vents are uncut/unmodified. We can pull one out of my car so you can see how far back you need to cut. :)

Not to sound greedy, but i am actually in need of two driveshafts. So if they fit in the trunk of an NB, i'll take one from you Brett (Rich needs it.) and i need Steve's/a second one for diagnosing a thing on one of my cars.

1) driver/passenger pair of PCI adjustable seat brackets $200
2) Moss inflatable lumbar support thingy $20
3) At least two sets of Eclipse vents $15/set
4) Three soft top tonneau covers, 2 black, 1 2000 SE parchment. $30 for the nicest black one, $20ea for the others
5) pair of 2.25" 400lb 5" Hyperco springs (xidas) $50
6) Haltech package i have in the classifieds MATG discount $1500
7) Energy Suspension front and rear poly arm kit for NA/NB BNIB $150
8) Fidanza/Tilton twin disc setup. Tons of spares in varying condition. I'd suggest new friction discs of your choosing to best suit your application. $250

I'll take the Moss inflatable lumbar support off your hands.

No interest in my BBK I guess (don't know where my picture went). It does have stainless braided hoses, I have it at the house so can get thickness measurements on the rotors if anyone wants.

Yours.

And Ben gets a driveshaft.

I need to see what else I have to gift/sell.

Just Dan 07-29-2019 01:13 PM

I'm in for the fixable 6 speed if the others back out!

I have to cancel my reservation at the Tapoco Lodge due to a work situation in case someone else wants to call them and snag it. The reservation was for Friday arrival and Monday departure. When I called a few weeks ago, it was their last room. We’ll plan ahead and be there next year.

Cheers!

Ben informs me the BBK I have has Wilwood 4 piston Dynapros with Wilwood hats/12" dia rotors and radial mounting brackets (doesn't seem to be a standard kit). I measured both rotors at three different places, both have a thickness of 20.25 mm. Also included are braided stainless hoses, new pads of indeterminate make (I have the numbers on the back but no idea what they mean) and a pair of 5 mm spacers. They do bolt into a NB1, I didn't use them because my wheels have a smaller diameter close to the face and they were hitting the calipers. Anyone wants pictures send me an e-mail address and I'll pass them along.

Guess a price would be good to list. $400.

You have a PM, Sir.

I have a BEGi intake manifold for 99+ BP if anyone is interested, $400.

TNTUBA 07-30-2019 08:27 AM

This is like the 8th year in a row MATG happens on the same Weekend as a Pro Solo. Unfortunately I'll be in Oscoda Michigan even though this takes place like15 min from my house. Have fun and be safe.

Which one? The cast one or a welded one? Please post a picture.

I usually keep two sets of spare wheels when I go to the track. I'm buying another set now and won't have room for all of them. I've decided to sell my trusty Rota Slipstreams which are shod with a good set Hoosier sm7 with only 6 heat cycles. The clear coat has been bad on these wheels since the day I got them but they are very light, straight, and true. They fit over my V8R 11.75 big brake kit with only one 5 mm spacer.

The wheels are 15 x 6.5 and I've always run 205 street tires or slicks on them. I always kept a spare set with me because slicks have thin carcasses and you never know when you are going to pick up a screw at the track or end up with a gash on the side.

$250 buys one of these tires new without the wheels but on this trip it will buy you four good tires and four wheels. Having spares is cheap insurance against a lost track day.
