New Restaurant at TMR in Cresson, TX
This is a shameless plug for a friend.
A new restaurant just opened in the Texaco at the TMR entrance -- Del Norte Tacos. Owner (Chris Garcia -- really good guy) is a full fledged chef from Houston that married a local girl -- as far as Chris is concerned, he's as far North as he ever wants to go -- hence "Del Norte." I've been going to his location in Godley (about 10 miles South of TMR) for a couple of years. It is, by far, my favorite place to eat in the area. I'm excited that he opened the Cresson location because it is closer to home. Anyway, if you're racing at TMR and are looking for some good eats, I can't recommend Del Norte highly enough. If you sit on the balcony, you can enjoy some awesome food and watch the action at the same time. |
Did this take the place of the shitty fried chicken spot?

Sure did.

What is TMR?
Did MSR-C do a name change? |
TMR = Texas Motorsports Ranch. Isn't that the name of the place?

Just curious if there was a name change recently or what. Either way, I'll check out the new grub site next time I'm in the area.. |

Dunno. There are two Motorsport Ranches in Texas. One in Houston (MSR) and one in Cression (MSR-C). Always heard them referred to as MSR and MSR-C. All results/mylaps use these acronyms.
