I'll be at Road Atlanta with NASA this weekend.

Updated my profile with info. I usually run with NASA but they jacked up their prices at road Atlanta this year. Jzilla is about 200 cheaper for a roughly equivalent amount of seat time. I'll miss that delicious barbecue though, and Jim is always entertaining.

Actually, flier I am pretty sure I met you at an event there last year and rode along with you one session. I have a white NA with a tan top..

Did Steve@Panic ever get that dyno he has been talking about. Would Columbia we a relatively central place for everyone to meet up at?

Rode with me in the car or along side on track? I've never had a passenger with NASA though, besides an instructor.

I thought about doing Jzilla, but I'm trying to get my TT license this weekend with NASA

Yes. $120 an hour, but is open to doing dyno days for clubs.

Ah, that must have been someone else then. My mistake!

Also, what kind of times are you running? Mods? Top speed on back straight? Trying to get a baseline for how my car performs. Seems down on power still (112mph).

When do we want to do a SC dyno day? Worth waiting for the fall for temps to go down some?

Yes. Because I'll be back in Columbia in the fall. lol.

Efini~FC3S 06-09-2015 02:53 PM

I'd be up for one this fall...just don't do it the weekend of the Sebrong ChumpCar race!

Panic is having a Tech Day for the Carolinas Miata club today. $50 for three dyno pulls. I might swing by. Doubt I'll do a dyno run with 100deg ambient Temps.

I wish I would have known earlier, I would have tried to go out.

Rallas 06-22-2015 12:39 PM

I din't make it out there either.

Efini~FC3S 06-22-2015 03:19 PM

Yea...more warning next time!

I need to dyno the ChumpLude at some point...

Rallas 06-23-2015 08:20 AM

They didn't give much warning on Facebook either. Sorry.

We might be able to set up a testing/tuning day if there are at least a few of interested. I can check with Steve. A while back my brother and I were looking at renting the dyno for the day to tune my miata and his FFR Cobra. It would be cheaper than paying for 2-3hrs of dyno time each.
