10-20% all weekend. I'm not sure that I'll run in the rain or not. I'm fine with the wet on slow tracks, but this one might scare me.

I am guessing if we do get rain it will not be much. That track usually dries out pretty quickly if there is sun and traffic. If it floods (not likely) it can get interesting, especially in the chicane.

Just the same I should probably mount up the new NT-01s so I have some tread. I was hoping to get a couple of more sessions from the current set but they are all worn down to two-groove slicks.

I got one day "on the stripes" then the tire felt super-slick the next day which was MSR-H. We all know my slow times at MSR-H were due to the tires and not a "driver skill" issue.

Look at this gayness:
http://www.texasworldspeedway.com/th...-poiciies.html
$10/person to camp
$15 to leave my tire trailer at the track

Typical TWS. They have their own fees separate from whoever is renting the track. Same deal with CMRA.

They have never inforced the fees on that with us. That was supposed to happen for our chump car race but there was no sign of anythign or anyone paying. I have noticed on their webiste for years that they say there is an entrance fee for watching races, but I was there every weekend to watch various crap when I went there. No fees ever.

I have never even heard of it. It may be a renamed hotel or I just may have never seen it before.

It's the place with the TAM pool. Is that a ghetto part of town? I'll stay there if I can expect my wheels to be on the car in the morning.

I'm getting close to buying a cheap rape van for track gypsy action.

DO IT.

I am planning on picking up a rape van hopefully in the fall to use as my tow vehicle. Can carry everything you need and also has a decent place to sleep with an air mattress.

Yeah that place was newly renovated about 5 years ago. I had no idea what the name was and it is in a good part of town.

You can't get enough green and woodgrain can you? I was sold when I saw the velvet throne seats and pedo curtains. I was looking @ vans but the only thing with worse gas mileage is a h1 Hummer or v10 excursion. Best deals right now are on 00-03 tahoes. Plus you can drive them when you're not towing and it's not sad or gross.
