2017 C7 vs 2000 SE
Yesterday I got a text from a friend:
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...d4fe1db75f.png We got a chance to get in several races. I was a little disappointed when I got to his house, he pawned his friend off on me so he could ride in my car. I feel like a couple hundred extra pounds really kills a miata, especially against a vette with no passenger. Anyway, I felt like the car held it's own. Car specs: 2000 SE with 169k miles Rods only motor, stock drivetrain GTX2860 @ 220kpa on E85 (337/288 Virtual Dyno) FM/BEGI log manifold 3" Artech Downpipe to MKTurbo Exhaust vs 2017 Rental Car C6 with 12k miles |
Why are is the third beep seemingly always mis-timed and short before dropping the hammer. Not picking on the video, but just in all highway runs on Youtube

it's hard to properly time those, and a highway hit usually favors a big n/a v8, so if the miata sleeps it will have at least half a car length to gain back |
