Anybody here tinker with PS, or use it in their profession? I used to use it a lot for drawing cars, anime and mecha/robot stuff. Haven't had it in years and just got a copy of CS4 and started playing with it a little. I've never been good with realism, but tried something new tonight and think it turned out well enough for a first try. I REALLY need a tablet, because all I have now is a mouse, and making smooth sweeping lines is tough **** with a mouse. What thinketh yous guys? Still needs some fine details added but I got tired and my wrist was aching after 2 hours of non stop drawing.



Please do share any of your PS works. I have misplaced most of mine over the years, but will find more later.

Here is a shitty version of a mostly finished mech from the Gundam anime series that I did for a friend. I wish I still had the 3000+ resolution versions that I used to have, not these grainy 600x1000 crappy ones. That's actually the first real thing I did in PS.

Yes you need a tablet. Drawing with a mouse sucks. I'm not much of a drawer. I modify some things with Photoshop but I am on version 7 and use it rarely any more.
