I threw mirror finish headlights filled with xenon filled superwhite's. Then, threw the lip on.

I get a ton of compliments on the headlights, yes they work and have ccfl halo rings. Def bummed out about the intercooler being painted, a couple of days with some paint stripper and we should be good (hopefully I can get into the fins). 18psi, can you teach my dog to weld? Would be quite helpful when my hands are full and need a good tig. Furthermore, I'm on the hunt for a bigger externally gated turbo, manifold and all those goodies. Altogether, your not going to be able to point out how bad my engine bay once I get done. The car has only been in my possession a little over a month, so cut me some slack... taking baby steps to prolong dropping $$$ on a turbo.

I really like the look, I have not received any negative attention except for you guys... even though you don't like it, I LOVE IT. Ha

I know, I got the car like this. Do you think it would be possible to strip the paint off or should I just paint it black like you said? Or.... don't let me get to far ahead of myself, just get a new FMIC that stretches the entire span of the duct.

I think you should add more paint on top of it by painting it black. I heard it really gives the thermal diffusion properties of your intercooler a big boost.

I was trying to close my hood and somehow a squirrel mindlessly jumped where the hinges are... trying to grab an acorn or something who knows. I shut the hood and it jacked my hinges up so much that it doesn't shut all the way. Don't you hate how these things happen.

Are you sure you don't just have hood risers? Seems like an elaborate story. Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

Are you one of those suckers who think paints matters when it comes to the effectivness of an IC?

Not to a point. I run a painted intercooler on my DD.

I'd love to see homeboy put another few coats on top of what he's already got, though. Then maybe spike to 16psi like he said he's doing in the other thread.

Bonus points for using a paint roller or a brush.

LOL dude, the car has digressed into a total pos since you bought it. I think this ones a troll. Those headlights are hideous, hood risers, color matched FMIC? blakked out wheelz, yo!

R package lip is your best mod so far .

SERIOUSLY trying not to be a dick. But you leave me no choice.
