He must have broke the rules.
WTF failed? Besides himself of course.
Images aren't working for me. So, Intercooler burst?
How much fucking boost do you have to run to blow your hood open, radiator support loose, bumper support loose, and front bumper all the way off the car!? Or I suppose a massive backfire could. I'd love to see up close carnage pictures.
oh shit...what happened? and pics not working here either.
WTF
idk why the pics arent working for everybody basically, the flywheel exploded. But the pics are what make it so epic 1 sec, Ill host them all from my photobucket |
I could not get pics either.
It looked like a classic nitrous backfire to me. Electrical problem with fuel solenoid perhaps. |
That makes a bit more sense. Been so long since I had a fail wheel drive car, I forgot the flywheel could explode out the front or back of the car.
That flywheel wanted out, and decided through the intercooler was the path of least resistance. Needs more scatter shield!
Fuuuuuuuuckk, pics do make it epic.
Lol, I watched that for a good 10 mins, thanks.
Sheeeeit! First test and tune is Wednesday now that Gatornationals is over. I know I'll be seeing some explosions.

From the video, it sounded like a pop in the intake, but the picture does not lie. Is that a common problem with Hondas?
looks like vtech kicked in yo....it just kicked in
its a common problem with flywheels, dont think your safe it can happen to anyone & people have been seriously injured in rear wheel drive cars as the flywheel sits around the same area as your ancles & can act like a knife, scatter sheilds do have their place....
Ive never seen it happen to a honda before.
I saw it happen to a sprite at an HSR event at roebling road once. Coming out of the last turn onto the straight the flywheel came loose and cut the bell housing completely in half. Engine hit the ground and the car hit the pit wall. It was a pretty car too... |
