A different look....
So as some of you have seen, I have made a few small changes. I finally got around to taking some pics...learing low-light shots and playing with GIMP software. Yeah...gonna be awhile to get the whole photo-editing thing down....or until I get Photoshop...GIMP is confusing.
Yes..that is the stock bumper. No, nothing happened to the Garage Vary....I was bored and decided to put the stocker on for kicks. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3446/...3ca5ce69_o.jpg Opinions? |
Honestly?
I like it better on the stock bumper than on the GV. Fantastic looking car. |
Holy crap dude, send that photo to a magazine.
|
My 5.0 Miata is going in for paint when it is done. They quoted me $1100 for same color. It's black FTL. I wonder what he would charge me for a full color change. I love your color.

Needs moar daylight. Looks better with stock IMO
|
I think it's a really good look. Many of the accents of your car are subtle(besides the side skirts), and the GV was neat, but too overcooked to really complement.
That or it's just hard to make your car look bad for some reason. A lot of your shots on Car Domain make the GV look cool...but I'm sure I would like this MUCH better in person. EDIT: As I look at more pics the Garage Vary makes the Miata look like a largemouth bass that just swallowed an intercooler lure. |
IMO stock bumper looks nicer but it's your car and you should just keep the bumper you really like. I have the GV bumper on my NA (even tho it crackedand it need replacing)and I think it looks better than stock but NB bumpers are nice

if there's anything mazda did right with the stock car it's the nose and tail. especially the 01+ nose.
incidentally, you need a tripod and some long exposure times. |
+1 more for the stock bumper.

I was using a tripod :) Just not using a uber-omg-crazy-DSLR camera...just the PowerShot i've been using. Resizing took away a good bit of sharpness too

Yeah, but the ISO isn't so hot and creates a lit of noise...unless I just haven't been doing something right. But so far i've been pretty happy with the low-light shots i've done :dunno:
For some odd reason, when I have tried really long shots at night, everything ends up all blurry..even when I use a tripod..oh well. I'm not that serious about pics. |
I'm loving the wheel full of brake.

|
Looks like it came straight out of a magazine, very nice man.
|
That looks amazing. I love the wheels.
