Epic video: first time in NASA Time Trials
Since I was kind enough to serve as a last-minute volunteer HPDE instructor during a NASA event last month at Texas World Speedway, they let me run in the Time Trial session. This video clip starts after the warm-up lap and ends with the checkered flag; it lasts about ten and a half minutes.
I added fun facts, like identifying all the cars that appear, and Lateral G's and Top Speeds during the best lap. Also, this video features a bitchin' soundtrack. Turn up the audio for the full effect. Here go the NASA Time Trial results from this particular session. |

Great driving. Great music. Epic wind noise I love it.
The tarmac looks so rough! Do they ever resurface something like that?? |
Thanks, mates. It's good to look at my stuff from two and a half years ago.
Resurface? Nah, that track is closing this summer. Sad, really, as it's my all-time favorite track. Good news is, I'll be getting another chance at a Personal Best, as there's another NASA Time Trials event in two weeks. I'll be shooting for a low 1:56.xx lap time. |
Totally did not see the date because not looking. :D
