Default Got a present from the wife

So glad to finally not be rubbing and able to take corners spiritedly...

Before everyone mentions the OBVIOUS, yes I would have gladly purchased the XTR's from Emilio.
Unfortunately it being a present I couldn't tell her to wait til who knows when for them to come out to get it for me. So I told her to get me these.

Overall I'm very happy with them. This is a 100% street car, no racing of any sort so they are good for what they are.

Comments welcome

very nice. I plan on getting those very soon. I love the 6uls, but my bank account hurts me and I want something a little different.

EDIT:

more pics of the tires/wheels by themselves? What tire is that? I am curious of how obnoxious the stretch is.

thanx guys.
the tire is some sort of knock off, 215/45/15 I think. No pics of them off the car, but I'll snap some next time I take em off.
The stretch isn't bad at all

Vlad, your car is looking better and better!

Any chance you may want to sell it?

Cool wife, happy life. My car looks like trash compared to yours. One day though...

Looks so bauce. Though, why not go for 225s if you're running 9"s?

couple reasons. not the best ones but,
1) price. the difference was about double (since generic knockoffs aren't made in 225/45 id have to have gotten something expensive)
2) its a daily driver right now. I need something that won't wear out in a couple thousand miles.
3) I don't drive the car aggressively at all or corner hard. this will be a daily beater slash highway queen on the new setup. no need for UBER grip.

If they really suck I'll swap em out later. So far I can't complain, and they DEFINITELY have more traction than my Sportmaxx/kumho combo
