start taking notes ladies

As if the driving wasn't badass enough, it was at bathurst - certainly one of the meanest tracks on the planet.

Something wasn't right there...he was passing way too easy.

Why did he start at the back of the pack?

Hmm?

Talk about lack of runoff... That is about as bad as Macau.

The yt embed works fine elsewhere.

Fast guys find themselves at the back of the starting grid for all kinds of reason. And though there was a lot of skill in that charge, it would not have happened without even more luck.

Speed used to carry the Bathurst 24hrs - phenomenal race with many classes. Definitely one of my favorites.

Saw that years ago, but it is an amazing video of some very technical and what I consider lucky driving, and a huge wonder why he started at the back, maybe the reason was to provide us with this awesome video.

But how does he blow by everyone near the end of the pack so darn quick, near the big ol'pole?

Probably some kind of qualifying infraction. Or even missing qualifying.

Jeez that's tight racing. Guy was in the right place at right time several times. A little lucky maybe but being in the right spot to take advantage is a huge skill set. Most of those passes were while the other cars were braking. He kept his foot in it. Mad skilz yo! Big brass ones too.
