I am skeptical that your first post is merely an advertisement for your business. Those pictures all suck from you trying too hard to make them "professional". Next time, just leave your camera on AUTO and try not to use the zoom so much. And if you intend to be here through the end of the day, how about a proper introduction post in the Meet&Greet forum so we know you're not here on an agenda

A) Was the photo critique for real? B) Do you really not know who Linhbergh is? Not here to troll... but genuinely surprised by the lack of support for someone who posts up a Miata meet they put together. One hell of a community you have here. |

He's one of the forum members who was convicted of manslaughter back in '92. He's been out for about 5 months now and came to TX to visit, so the miata meet was thrown. He's a big fan.

If you have a problem with any of the cars in the photos most are from the Houston Miata club, and are my friends, and I can tell you they are mostly raced be it autox, or track. How's that for a couple of post counts per weeks. |

In the end, my "agenda" was to show off the Houston Miata community to the world. Yes, the world. When Linhbergh asked me to put together a meet, I knew this would be good for our Houston tuner scene, as SpeedHunters is an international blog, and generates millions of hits on the internet. They are right behind AutoBlog and Jalopnik on the blogosphere. When I posted the pictures we took on here, my intention was just to share photos of the meet, nothing more. I was not trying to sell anything to anyone. But when I am met with hostility in a car forum that caters to the very same cars I want to showcase, that's definitely disappointing. well i certainly appreciate the interest, meet, pictures, etc... i had a great time hangin' with everyone and hope to see a few of the houston peeps at our miata challenge event at harris hill road in june. don't worry about the hatin', that's how everyone (new) gets greeted around here. it usually weeds out the pussy's. you ain't pussy's are ya? lol j/k... but really, they know of speedhunters, or should. a year or so back they featured one of the mt.net track gods "savington" and i think helped get him a spot in the super lap battle which was invitation only. anywho, love the pics, don't let these guys discourage you from livin' your dream. or coming back for that matter!
