it is true that i frequently rent them for the additional $5/day (on top of 15/day ooh) when I travel, but you know what? the more I drove them, the more I hated them. sure, they have great low speed torque and get phenomenal gas mileage (perfect rental), but they SUCK MY SHAVED NUTS in terms of driver enjoyment.

So... since last time I was in CA we had a few different rental cars (long story), the first was a prius but the rest were kia rios (no power locks wut?) and they were slow but mor enjoyable to drive than a prius.

but whatever, i'm a car guy. gas mileage is great, but it's not the only variable.

You haven't lived until you've activated the second half of the stability management in a Prius. You aren't a man until it's beeping at you during an on-ramp.

Can't drive them in the snow either, as the stability management won't let you rock back and forth.
