Default Couple pics from yesterday @ the track

Local roadcourse called River's Edge in Mission, BC. I help put on events here and am the head novice instructor for our club. If it looks like I'm holding up a train, it's me actually leading them around the track for the first time ...

Ah you noticed my friends Skyline... It's a built RB25DET that makes 310whp at 10PSI on the same Mustang dyno I dyno'd 233whp at. His car couldn't touch me... something to be said about not being 3600lbs :P

This was there too (RHD, single turbo 400ishwhp)

Lol, after having built a 600awhp GTR with a buddy a few years ago (tuned at XS Engineering in LA by Eric Hsu)... I'll stick with the more simple RB25 and RB20's for the future. Although that car did haul sweet ***... To this day I have not been in another car that compares.

Its a damn shame you never got to take a ride in JayL's car when it was at the peak of its glory. I've ridden in/driven some fast cars, but that thing MELTED MY ******* FACE.

Car is looking great. If I may suggest though, it would look damn fine with just a *touch* of fender flare to cover up that poke.

It's in the works. I only run those on the track so it's OK for now. I'm sure it's not doing my aero any favors though.

That's a crazy spread of various cars... two Miatas and the rest are all different- and they're all very clean/straight.

Great pics; I'm jealous of your seat time.

I saw the second thumbnail and thought, "Who takes a Lexus RX330 to a track event?!"

Yeah we get lots of different cars out. It's an open UBC sports car club event so the club is not car specific.

Some other cars we've had out in the past..

we can have some forbidden cars too!

my buddy's r32, over 500hp on low boost built rb26. i think it weighed just over 3200lbs. on our scales, so i don't know what your friend was feeding his skyline. plus that guy must not be a great driver because no way your getting away from this one on track. Too bad it has to hide in storage when not in use. but that's u.s. homebull security for ya. grey market japanese cars apparently fund terrorists. lol

EDIT* oops, got the skylines in question mixed up. the rb25 (why built for 310whp?) rwd 3600lb (how is it that heavy?) one could'nt keep up. that makes sense. that rx-7 looks awesome! with a good driver and setup that thing should haul!

Well he was a novice driver. And it's a RWD gts-t. They aren't that fast.

I may be off on the weight, but when I weighed my old gts-t it was aroudn 34-3500lbs without me in it.

The RX7 guy has been driving for a long time. He an I were neck and neck the whole day. He dosen't pull on me and I don't pull on him. Cornering is close too.

Scrolled up and down your post yesterday. Mmmmm...

I drove a GTR once. Felt like I was floored for two seconds before the boost hit. I would have been gooooone but I missed 4th ):
