Minimalist engine bays, please post pics.

I'm trying to achieve the cleanest engine bay possible. I'm just looking for ideas as to what to do with wiring/others.

Thanks.

I too love this idea, but ran out of time during this build. Planning to go at it over the winter while the car isn't being used anyway

Its pretty easy to clean up the wiring on the passenger side of the engine bay. I did this the last time I had the engine out.

Pretty much just ran everything up under the fender lip to clean it up. Very minimal wire cutting/splicing and makes a huge difference. Currently not running an idle valve or TPS so I cut all those wires completely off. Going to route them later in a much cleaner way along the fuel harness path.

I just realized i don't have a direct shot of the bay how it currently sits. Will snap one tomorrow sometime and edit it into this post.

Any insight you can offer concerning parts of the loom which are easily removed?

I've got my engine bay harness looking pretty sparse, however, I've been lazy and have tucked items like the airbag wiring back into the interior. I haven't poked around under the dash yet to see whether items like the radio harness and airbag harness are easily removed without de-looming everything.

Step 2: Eat a bolagna sandwhich

Step 3: Connect the 2 lines with a vacuum hose

Step 4: Get shit faced

Step 5: Lobster Rage Fists!

Step 6: ??????

Step 7: Profit?

If you don't believe me then you can see for yourself!!!!! ZING!

I see, thanks. I'll definitely be profiting shortly!

I need to look up that adding lightness thread and see what else i can remove from there. I'd really love to get rid of the abs piece since I dont even have the pick-up rings on the rear axles.
