nice, looks a lot like my car.

What is your ride height at the fender?
Do you scrape the scooper frequently?
Does the scooper get full exposure to air?

I want to keep my r-pack lip, but I'm worried that I'll rip off the scooper if I go off track.

Ride height is 12.5 front and 12.75 rear.

I live in NYC so I scrap more than I would like, but if you are careful its not often. I used to scrap more with my FMsprings/Illumina setup but now with my 949 Tein Flex its stiff enough to avoid scraps.

The scooper gets fresh air. Its designed for the R lip. But like everything BEGI- nothing fits, so expect to fiddle with it a little bit. The new design bolts it to the rad supports instead of the lip. I dont really like that idea either so I am working on some extensions that mount to the frame with break away bolts.

I have a Koyo 55mm rad, the FCM/2/3rd's Cobra fan shroud, air scooper and 180 thermostat - I stay very very cool. In the summer I never budged off a normal range. In the winter I am actually cooler than stock.

Here is the interior:

wow, our cars are really similar. I may switch to flex, or something similar. I'm probably going to give BEGi the scooper back and ask them to make one to hang under the lip which doesn't mount to the radiator.

Thanks for the info.

As for the water temps, ever had the car on the track? I also have an FM hood to help out.

Post up your car - I could care less about a thread hijack lol.

I havent had the car to the track since I finished the build but based off some "closed circuit" drives, I think I should be more than fine.

How is that clutch holding? I havent heard much positive about them, but they sure are cheaper than the Xtreme.

BK? What neighborhood? Who have you been using for your dyno tuning on your MS?

I just wanted the one that would hold with a light pressure plate. I only have the car at 10psi now, and I'm not driving it hard. I side stepped the clutch a bit at 4k rpm, and it slipped and i made the sad face. After putting a few miles and some torque on it, I don't think the clutch was ever really broken in on 94whp.

It chatters a little, but the pedal is light. If it holds 230lb/ft, I'll buy another one.

Check with me before you buy because I want to see what happens after some action at the track. Its a metal clutch, so it should only get better with a little heat.

I have an ACT Xtreme and ACT ProLite flywheel and I love them - zero complaints, no chatter and no slip. Pedal is only a little harder and the flywheel is very very forgiving. Not looking to buy, but I was hoping to hear a more positive review eventually on the Spec clutches so we could have a cheaper alternative to the Xtreme.

Wow - we have pretty similar cars too lol.

Mine is an S4 and I am running a FM bar in the front and stock rear bar and no COPS but pretty close otherwise lol.

Was that 250rwhp you ran at 14.5psi? or corrected hp? Gotta be rwhp, right? Any boost creep? Guessing by the half lb psi you are running external gate?

Were did you get tuned at around here?

Damn Mr. Wob! You're a rebel! Parking in a No Parking zone in front of the showroom entrance at the Ferrari dealership.

When I think turbo track miata, I think black or white NA with 6ul's and a turbo kit. Very nice!

Your car looks like mine will, but my car is black.......which means it's dirty.
