Default My 2000 Turbo Hayabusa

Here's a couple pics of my other baby I just finished putting it together right before i bought my miata. Im wait for a little warmer weather so i can get it to the dyno. Im told this kit the way i have it set up right now with 8psi will make 250hp to the rear tire, and yield a mid to high 8sec 1/4mile. Ive added a walbro 255 inline pump, XS rfl blow off valve, fmu, and a slant cut 2.5" down pipe that exits the faring not in the pics. enjoy!

Why wouldn't an intake manifold like that work on a Miata? As far as I can tell, the biggest issue with mani design is with equal airflow to all 4 runners. Why not just extend the charge piping up the fender-wall and mount the throttle body facing the passenger fender? Is there room? What's the issue?

You can do it. Theres a guy down here with an old 1300 suzuki with a decent sized rotomaster on it. Its actually setup like an old school draw-through system. The guy said he was running 15+psi with no intercooler system at all..??? Either he's smoking crack(probably) or bikes are just special and im ignorant.

He wants to setup a race with our hennessy viper.....should be aot of fun

Holy shnikies! That's gotta be unreal. Same power as my Miata less 2000lbs. I'm scared just knowing that bike exists. You say that bike is to keep you sane. I say it's going to make you a little crazy.

Just don't play with that in traffic. I lost yet another friend this summer. Too fast around a corner and went wide into oncoming traffic. Worst part his son was riding a new bike following him. Saw the whole thing. Of the 7 or 8 guys I know dead or severely maimed on bikes, all but one was their fault. Speed is fun until it isn't.

Yeah i mean i see it all the time in CT. People ride like idiots. We have a few street bike gangs that come to to mind when i think of dumbass riders. This is a true story.....this one gang was on the home from a memorial ride to honor a rider that had died a few weeks prior......two more die from riding like idiots. Another time when i had my R6 2 years ago i was riding with a gang, a guy behind me with no license no insurance with and under age female rider, was doing a wheelie on the highway and went down, causing a first time rider behind him to crash once they went down.....They all lived and everyone but the girl walked away, she had only broken 1 leg. Ive seen it all, im 27 now and realize that life is way to short to mess around on a stupid motorcycle. I built this bike to cruise around and hit the track once in a while, but bottom line, if my wife said this thing has to go, id sell it. Now if she said sell the miata....she'd be the one leaving lol.

my friend crashed his turbo busa years back going about 15mph. to be able to keep 375whp on the ground it had to be lowered and stretched to the point where turning wasn't so easy

Back when I worked for a sport bike outfitter, we received a turbo hayabusa to install a bunch of random **** on. I took it for a ride around the block. I didnt even give it any significant gas, but man just knowing that all that power is at my disposal gave me a butterflies in my stomach
I drove it like a ***** 45mph and didnt even have the ***** to give it ANY gas.
(owner let me ride it btw)

Kinda late in the game.....but I'm from Meriden as well. I'm surprised to see another turbo miataist so close, nevermind in the same town! We'll have to get together sometime to shoot the sh*t, my fiance does'nt share the same enthusiasm as I for the miata lol! I live in a condo complex right across from Maloney High School on Gravel St....
