My Ken Block invitational media coverage
Here is a quick clip of Ken Loosing to Top Gear America's host. My final edit of the whole event should be done tonight, and on the web by tomorrow.

They both lost.

Hows that work?
|
Well, it is very similar to saying Jennifer Grey beat Kyle Massey & Bristol Palin on Dancing with the Stars...
|
Fair enough, here is the full edit I finished with.
Suggestions/comments/ways to improve is always welcome! Hope you guys enjoy it. |
tanner got him out of the starting gate.

some of the shots are great, still question your taste in music. Video went much better with The Final Countdown I had playing in the background.

This was playing my background
it was pretty epic. I really like the slow panning shots FWIW, and the shots through the net. |
Omg hahahahaha! Damn you caps.

Music is tough. But think of it like you do your shots. It's all about composition.
Contrasting sounds or sounds that blend with the cars... Music that fits the mood (aggressive) or that fits the style of the filming (smooth and flowing). Or both. Or if you want to get wacky, search for some Vitamin Strings versions of more hardcore music. |
did u do that all with your 70-200? in for details, looks good.
how about throwing your tahoe parking lot snowboard tunes on? ur right, music is hard. id be happy with old school green day or pumpkins but im proly the only one. |
I would go with this song:

Most of the shots are done with my friends 70-200 2.8IS, I dream to own the same lens someday. Likely ill just get the f/4 one though, for both weight and price. A quality tipod helps alot, like the zoomed in panning shots.. Anything I do handheld tends to be pretty shaky. Its about time for a quality stedi-cam too. |
