Boy was it hot. The first session out (which is the only video I got that doesn't cut out 2 min into the session) was already 80 degree's. I had to take it easy on the car because of high oil temps. Coolant temps were very stable between 88c to a high of 100c even with track (asphalt) temps over 120 degrees. The video cuts out half way into the session because I forgot to charge the battery to the camcorder as well as the GPS unit, duh. The car ran very well though but it's about time for a new set of NT01's and a larger/relocated oil cooler.
On a side note, I picked up a cool shirt system from a new company called Ultra Chiller. His system is very reasonable and includes a shirt with the kit below $300.00. I had him make me a smaller custom unit with quick releases for the electrical plug and water lines. I'll post pics and include a write up on my cardomain site when time permits. The system worked fantastic and it really allows you to focus in the hot environment of a FI Miata. If you are in the market, call or e-mail Chris and tell him I (Myron) sent ya. |
I can't hear your tires.
That woman in the Viper is retarded. I say woman because if that's a man, he's definitely tucking. |
Thanks for the link on the shirt. Too bad I don't have that for my Lemon-party this weekend.

They are there, but they can't be heard because of the trans and vacuum sounds of the turbo EBC :D RE; the Viper, I passed him two laps later after the video ended but gave it back on the last lap because of short shifting. It's an FI'ed Viper, fast in the straights but he couldn't hang it out in the brake zones or corners.
