New race track for us NW guys!
 

We have a new racetrack for us NW guys. The new Oregon Raceway Park is ready to go for this season. No amenaties yet but the paving is done and clubs have HPDE 's scheduled. Unlike Portland Raceway this has a lot of elevation changes, blind corners, old school scary.

This place is about 2 hours east of Portland in the middle of nowhere. Nice to have another choice when all we had before was Portland Raceway and Pacific raceway near Seattle.

Geez I want to run this new track! Here's a couple videos from the 1st track day. 1st clockwise in an old 2002. 2nd counter in an spec bimmer.

I'm so happy!!!

Looks like a lot of fun. You're making me wish April could come sooner! I'm in a group of people that are going to rent a track for the day. It'll be so worth it!

I'd be in for some track days there. It's not too far from my GF's Mom's town. When do you think a schedule will be out??

The track's website has virtually no infomation. They said one would be coming but who knows when. Best place I've found for track schedules in the NW is...

NW track day schedule

This is a schedule for most of the NW tracks. If you go to the portland raceway website and look at the schedule there are links to most of the oregon clubs that have track days. You can check the schedules of the various clubs to see who is running there also. Lot's of work but there is no list yet for just the new raceway.
