Watch part 2 and see how everything he said in part 1 is instantly reduced to tinfoil hat talk.

Haha that's horrible but funny as shit especially if you had more people over.

On a side note, I don't think the world will end in 2012... i have a bottle of water that says it expires at 2013 so something is off. :D

For lots of people the world will end in 2012. But nobody will be dying due to an end game scenario. The vid is just a guy making money off peoples fear and obsession with shit like that, there was a lady who said the same thing back in 96 or something like that.

It will come and go like countless other days people predicted to be the end of the world, or rapture or whatever the fuck you want to call it. When a natural disaster does finally do us in, it will be just that, natural. Scientifically predictable, not foretold in some ancient superstitious text. I'm much more worried about us fucking ourselves and planet in the near future. At the rate things are going, we will find our global civilization doomed by our own doings, in the near future.

GEOMAGNETIC STORM: A strong-to-severe geomagnetic storm is in progress following the impact of a coronal mass ejection (CME) at approximately 12:15 UT on Sept. 26th. The Goddard Space Weather Lab reports a "strong compression of Earth's magnetosphere. Simulations indicate that solar wind plasma [has penetrated] close to geosynchronous orbit starting at 13:00UT." Geosynchronous satellites could therefore be directly exposed to solar wind plasma and magnetic fields. High-latitude sky watchers should be alert for Northern and Southern Lights after nightfall. Aurora alerts: text, voice.

I could die tomorrow walking across the street.

Whats your point? What do we prepare for? What can we really do if something major happens?

Worrying about the stuff that's out of our control is a waste of time and energy. Not to mention it's unhealthy.

green_comet 09-28-2011 07:12 PM

Oh god, im so ashamed to be Aussie right now after watching that tool. We're not all like that. lol

btw i didnt say my link is false, i was commenting on the video i posted few weeks back. As far as my link to space weather goes. That site is as legit as it gets and has no connection with the other douche.

The funny thing however is is that it has not stopped raining since the 26th here.
