Autosport International show (UK)
http://plus.autosport.com/free/featu...-show-preview/
I'm attending this in a couple of days. Are there any specific photos anyone wants of any F1/WRC/etc cars? For example, I'll be taking a lot of close ups of underbody aero stuff, because it arouses me slightly. So yeah - if any of you have geeky photo suggestions, let me know

I'm leaving for Autosport in a couple of hours, one trade day and one public day is enough to see it all (eh, not all the shows then, just the interesting stuff, and shop some small parts without shipping for once).
It's always nice to get 1st hand contacts with Jenvey, Quaife, Elite etc and get answers on the noob question one might have.
You can also have some fun by comparing the answers to identical questions from different firms... Sometimes the "Hard core facts" are quite soft and squishy.

Below is the front end of Matt Doran's new Ford RS200 Pikes Peak challenger. Nine hundred and something horsepower.
And finally, the height of American technology……………………………..
I probably should have written a caption for all the photos, 'cos if you realise what you're looking at they're twice as interesting.
For instance, those AP Racing brakes are 2011 Formula 1 items.
The blue car I'm looking under is a Porsche 956 or 962, ie the car with the most aerodynamic downforce of all time. That's according to one of my aerodynamic books, anyway. I'm not sure it's true.
That green Evo engine is inserted into a Peugeot 205, which, for you US peeps, is a very small front wheel drive hatchback.
The photo of the Precision turbo isn't zoomed in. My mate's hand is touching something on the back of it, and the catalogue underneath it is A4 sized. Basically, the turbo is the largest I have ever seen. Hotside and coldside together = bigger than my head.
And did anyone notice the turbo BP motor in the white kit car?
