Looking forward to purchasing the TSE door latch eliminator kit in the near future.

But seriously, nice job.

It's worth mentioning that every other car in the class was on Hoosier A6s. The P1 Rx7 was running a 285/255 combo. We were on 225mm NT-01s. :giggle:

^That surprised me. I didn't think A6's were designed to hold up to track temps.

A6=autox
R6=road course

A6s are very commonly used on race cars for 30 minute sprint races, but they won't last you many heat cycles at all. If you like throwing away tires that cost over $1000 every weekend (or multiple sets every weekend), then they are a great tire to run.

Word. I've been to plenty of SCCA nationals where the top guys are using 4 new A6s for qualifying and either 4 A6s or 4 R6s for the race. Nothing like using $2000 worth of tires for each SCCA national race...

Meanwhile, I'm beating the same guys with old BFG R1s...

Granted a lot of those same guys are at least partially sponsored by Hoosier so they're not necesssary spending $2000+ a weekend on tires.
