700kpa = ALLOFIT?

miata2fast 07-09-2012 01:15 PM

pdexta, you will probably 60 just as hard as the 5.0 if you had skinnies and slicks. Maybe better.

I think you did pretty well considering his tire and gear setup.

Because a 400kpa one is more accurate :jerkit:

250kpa sensor:
MPX4250AP - FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR - IC, PRESSURE SENSOR, 20 TO 250KPA | Newark

700kpa sensor:
MPX5700AP - FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR - IC, PRESSURE SENSOR, 15 TO 700KPA | Newark

And Scott, just for you:
MPX5999D - FREESCALE SEMICONDUCTOR - IC, PRESSURE SENSOR, 0 TO 1000KPA | Newark

Just JB weld a nipple fitting to it.

18psi 07-12-2012 08:36 AM

no 2000kpa no care

Braineack 07-12-2012 08:44 AM

I lied, it's $16.

buy two and a 1K resistor, a .22uF and .1uF cap and you can run baro.

MPX5700AP Freescale Semiconductor | MPX5700AP-ND | DigiKey

Because a 400kpa one is more accurate :jerkit:
the MPX4250AP is accurate within 1%, the MPX7000AP within 2.5%. Good enough for me, so long as it's consistent.

pdexta 07-12-2012 10:30 AM

I'm pretty confident that I could severely screw something up by trying to swap out a map sensor. I'm better off with the 250kpa sensor anyway, I need something to stop me from turning it up more.

Braineack 07-12-2012 10:37 AM

If you can screw up soldering 6 pins, I feel bad for you :)

Reverant 07-12-2012 10:44 AM

Don't get too cocky with your soldering s-kills.

Braineack 07-12-2012 10:46 AM

i never said i had any :) I honestly have no idea if I'm doing it "right" or not.

That and aren't you still on the 2860? I'm pretty sure its in the upper limit @ 20+psi

Faeflora 07-12-2012 12:13 PM

Dude you are doing it wrong.

250hp miata is the fastest thing on earth. Not a 350hp miata. That is just too much.

18psi 07-12-2012 12:21 PM

Nope, YOU'RE wrong: broken down never running 400whp miata is teh fa5t3rrr

No when I was at "400hp", in general, my car worked.

:(
