I watched the Grand Am race last night and was really confused by the grid boss at pit exit waving people to "go", with a red flag. What a fucking retard.

Orly? With a RED? LOL Here, you can go now, but please find a safe spot to stop when you get on track.

The officials and announcers didn't see a problem with it. If someone waves a red flag at me in any motion, laying stripes isn't my gut reaction.
