Saw this linked on another side, and it's pretty badass. Somone has good editing skills too. Much better than 95% of the typical youtube bullshit..

While I'll agree the cinematography was great. The content lacked a lot of luster.

I don't see why you guys hate ******** so much. Sure, for comp/lifestyle purposes..its...bleh. But for entertainment value...its pretty sweet.

That video was sick.

Eh, I'm not saying it was the best technical dr!fting, but the cinematography and the way everything was put together was what made it killer. Presentation is key.

It's fun to do. Takes real skill to do well. It's just not everyone's cup of tea. Which do you prefer watching from the olympics, Couples ice skating or Speed skating? Synchronized swimming or the 400 relay? That's the best way I can explain my dislike for ********. I can appreciate the skill it takes and would enjoy trying it myself sometime. I just don't appreciate many judged competitions as a spectator sport, live or on tv.

Agreed that it takes skill to properly drift, but I found this pic funny so...

dissapointing. Dr!fting can have good entertainment value when you combine speed and tire spin but that stop motion stuff just killed anything dr!fting has going for it.

that is exactly what I thought as well: overall cinematography is nice and the slow motion is not bad, but making almost the whole damn thing in slow motion made it look retarded.

I thought it was great! And I've never been a fan of ********. But I wanna see something that will make the cynics laugh and the fanboi's go wtf? I want to see something like an Alfa Romeo kickin the corners or a Ferrari or old *** Porsche, like a 356, sliding out a turn. I'm so tired of 240's/Silvia's that I feel like an old fart. Gimme something unconventional!

You would mean somewhere like Roadsterdr!ft.? But the story over there goes that my GF hates ******** so I gave it up...and because I "realized that everyone was better than me" (direct quote from someone there).

If you were trying to kick me back over to CR, it means i would have 195s on 8"+ wide wheels, some kinda of childs toy hanging from my rear tow loop, ITBs, and rusty/missing body panels

I'm not saying that the actual ******** was anything groundbreaking, but overall, the video is damn cool...although I'd like to hear the same music and see the same type of shots/editing done to ooooh WRC or F1.

Who gives a **** what anyone else thinks about anything on here, there, or anywhere else. Seriously, if you like something you have no reason to defend yourself to an internet alias. I don't know why the dr1fting argument comes up almost as much as cat pictures on here.

Video was very well made but the actual driving itself was pretty weak. The black FD toward the end was my favorite car.

yeah...thread = fail per topic. I started with to show the video's overall quality, not specifically the content. Oh well, at least some of you enjoyed it overall

I do dig the soundtrack though, wish I could find more stuff like that.

Editing made it much better that the content. Over all well done and i enjoyed watching it. Something i would love to do on a track or with some cones or something to play around with safely.

I'd actually love to learn to control a tail slide. I'm not going to call it dorifto-ing. I recently spun out in my car and I wish I had known how to control the situation better. Once you feel the tail come out, you have to think differently about your throttle input, your steering and dare I say any brake pedal usage.

If I had known how to control the rear end better then maybe I wouldn't have looked like a dumbass. So the actual sport= pretty gay. Knowing how to pull such a stunt= talented. But man... I liked the pit scenes. The attention that those cars get from their owners. If they had been out there for actual road racing, that video would have been even more amazing.
