Yeah, it's an 3" straight originally, shortened and added 90* elbow, then trimmed the elbow back to this.

Performance advantage? Noise? Just curious. I have turndowns on some older cars, and it's generally done for noise on those.

Yea, noise reduction - away form the metering points that is.
