Brother-in-law's Jetta. This is the guy who married my sister and who I entrust with my Miata when the Army sends me places...

Anyway, he's in the middle of lowering his VW.

Aesthetics mostly, I guess. It's not like the Jetta is a world class performance car. Meh.

Plus he's Mexican, so it's in his genes.

Don't think so, not with bags, anyway. Gravity will simply lower it until the frame touches the ground and it'll stop there. Knowing him, that won't be low enough - on his Nissan truck he ground the pinchwelds off and drug through half of the rocker before some girl rear-ended him hard enough to total it.
