Well im not sure where to put a build thread but definately ill be posting some pictures up. I dont have any of it before I started to dismantle it besides a side view of me in it and a picture of the front of it with the bumper on and headlights up.

Drop the drift kiddie drift missile shit. Go do some autocross. Drive your car in a stock class while you save some money. Then buy some wheels and tires and some suspension bits. Go faster in that class. Go do some HPDE too. You dont sound like you want to get this car wrecked in drifting, which is eventually going to happen, it will meet the wall.

I've got a really cool unique idea for your drift missile. You should sand down the trunk and let it rust, then put on some 0 offset wheels and SLAM that momma. We love slammage around here. Then you can hoon it around with all your bros. It would be jdm as fuck.

I decided not to make it into a missle. Its going to be a drift car and yes they are expensive to build. Any racecar is quite frankly. I would still love to take it to meets on the weekends without having the car rearend all bent up and other stuff you see in the japan videos of a missile

Welcome to the forum. Everyone is required to be cordial to new guys in their meet and greet threads.

This forum is known as being tough on appearance mods, and things that make the car slower around corners or handle more poorly. Drifting is typically looked at here as the figure skating of motorsports. It gets no respect. The people at Club roadster sent you here so that we would chew you up and make you feel bad. They are not your friends and meant you harm by sending you here. We are generally about making our cars faster and more reliable on the race track. Anything short of that is just fapping in the breeze.

There is a huge amount of useful information in this forum for making your car faster in a straight line as well as braking better and cornering much better than stock. If you are interested in learning those things this will be a good place for you to read and learn. You are encouraged to use the search box for any questions you might have and to read the stickies before starting a new thread asking a question. I only bring this up to keep you from being thrown to the wolves. They do not like to have questions asked and new threads started when the answers are easily found by searching.

Welcome to the forum. You are safe in this thread. And we can teach you to be fast if you want to be fast. If you wish to learn to figure skate you might find more help with the girls on club roadster.

Thanks man! Ill possibly be turboing later on when the profits can afford that type of setup. I mean I can relate to power as my dad likes power and going in a straight line. Would I be able to relate to a 396 Crate Engine from chevy BBC, that he built pushing 425+ hp all motor in my moms 69 Camaro? For drifting on here its what im going to have to deal with. Just to let everyone know this is a "SLOW" build and a work in progress. Most people expect it to be done fast. Think again.

Im thinking of getting my car painted the Eggplant purple like that instead of painting just a dark primer that im doing now.

DUDE, it would be so sick if you did the top green with the purple so it looks like an eggplant. I'm not sure if you have enough Eunos JDM parts to pull it off though.

hahahaha, I always liked darker colors, I wouldve never thought of painting the hardtop that green. First off though I dont have a hardtop. I have a ripped soft top :( So it makes storing the car at my house a B*tch. Also now because I dont have the door on so anyone can come and steal parts out of it which is not good.

You want a hardtop, and a nice green would set it off against the car and give it some flavor.

Hell yeah I want a hardtop. That makes life so much more easier for me. No worry really about leaks and it just makes a miata look better. Im happy my car came factory with the Hardtop clamps and stems that are on the car. Im not sure if all miata's have that but I think some dont.

This is one of the best meet and greet threads ever. I might be 80 by the time he finishes his build but with his plans sounds like it'll totally be worth the wait. I love drifting!

And eggplant color scheme? that's the best idea i've heard yet. Not even kidding.

Hahaha thanks man! Yeah eggplant. That was the original color I wanted but I never thought of painting the top green which makes me wanna do it now :). Maybe hardtop for birthday and then paint it green I think so. Anyway I have work now so ill talk to you all later.

So, when I was 16, I probably would be doing something like what you're doing. I bought an '89 Saab 900 Turbo, promptly disconnected the wastegate actuator, and tried to blow up the engine. Luckily, rust overtook the car before I managed to do so, and I sold it to a guy who wanted to swap the motor. I had a Merkur XR4Ti that I built up a bit. Blew it up because I didn't know that you needed fuel management, I just turned up the boost. Damn those motors are tough though.

What I'm trying to say is: You're young and dumb. You'll learn. Problem is, you're showing up and asking for advice or wanting props from people who are several steps ahead of you. You don't think before you type. Because of that, you get made fun of. It's freaking hilarious, honestly, but I bet it kinda sucks on your end.

Seriously though dude... At your age, drive your car, enjoy it. Just drive it and enjoy it. To do that, you'll need to get a better job and actually get a driver license :facepalm: . Read the forums, but don't post.
