1st Post
Hi all,
Wanted to greet the community. This is all my brothers fault... now I have 2 Miata's - 1990 & 1991. Now I plan to do a turbo charge 1.8l, just not sure if I want to do a conversion or buy a "94 or newer. Planned build: GT 2560r, begi manifold and dp (or maybe one of TurboTims Absurdflow), FMIC, Act extreme clutch and lightened flywheel, MSPNP, 6 speed Transmission, BOV, 550cc injectors, dual fuel rail for starters:) Also, will plan on a partial built motor, but am not sure as to the extent I should build it. I know i want Rods, weisco pistons, and 99 head swap plus rebuild. Should I have a new crank installed if/when i do this or will the stock crank be sufficient for the job? Presently, I work in the semiconductor field but have plans on starting my own custom knife making business. Since I;m at work i will cut this short before someone looks over my shoulder lol. cya all |
Wow! 1st post is in meet & greet. Brief explanation of goals and hopeful build. Reasonable question.
Looks like you won't be living up to your name! Good job! |
I was wondering why he gave himself that name...before opening it I was ready for a good laugh thinking he was banned and a mod thought changing his name would be funny...guess not.
Now, PICS OR BAN |
welcome, interesting name

The name started on a forum, flamewars, an MMO forum, and now I kinda just use it for most of my forum names now:\ or some derivative.
I will post some pics when I pick up my +94 or newer Miata, until then my stock ones will just have to stay stock. I had the chance to drive one sweet FMII turbo charged Miata... that was a fast ride. I can't wait to start the project... autox and tracking the car as well as a DD is my intended goal. Until then though i will have to suffer with my 1.6l commuter. Cheers Paul |
