93 STS build here.

Hi there.
I just recently moved from Tokyo to Louisiana for work, and picked up a Miata for my time being here. I'd been building the car to STS class rules for this last season, however I think it's time for some boost in the near future. I'm coming from a background in drift, as well as high horsepower...Volvos. I bought the car completely stock with a hard top and about 108k on the odometer for around ~4k. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1424475796 The season soon started after this, so the car was rapidly transformed to be semi-competitive at the local level. FM vmaxx classics, racing beat sway, 949 end links, 7.5" TR C1s, and BFG Rivals were all added. (as well as all the common maintenance items, and a decent alignment) https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1424475796 This is how the car currently sits. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1424475796 The autocross season just ended (I won a rookie of the year trophy.....is this cool?) and I'm at a crossroads with where to take the car now. I recently picked up some 14" RPF1's for daily duties, and I'm about to have XIDAs on order, and an Ultrashield seat. Where to after that? Do I give up the STS classing and just have fun with the car in SSM? We'll see what opportunities arise I guess. I also highly value HPDE time, so there's also that to consider. Anyway, hello. |
Shreveport area? Looks like Thunder Road in background.
